There has been a growing interest of China’s rapid economic growth, particularly agriculture-led growth and poverty reduction. In fact, China and Africa have developed their agriculture under different historical conditions. China’s agriculture-led growth and poverty reduction and small holder based agricultural development policy can provide useful experiences for Africa countries to develop their home-made agricultural development strategy to reduce poverty and at the same Africa countries should also take lessons from China’s agricultural development process in order to make sure that this learning can be based on African context.
